The Statue of Liberty Enlightening the World was a gift of friendship from the people of France to the people of the United States and is a universal symbol of freedom and democracy. Liberty Island is accessible by Circle Line-Statue of Liberty Ferry, Inc. ferries only. One round trip ferry ticket includes visits to Liberty and Ellis Islands. Round trip ferry tickets cost $10.00 for ages 13+, $8.00 for senior citizens (62 and over), and $4.00 for children 3-12. Please contact the ferry company at (212) 269-5755 for ferry schedules.

Diamond Head
The most famous volcanic crater in the world is Diamond Head, located on the South-east Coast of O'ahu at the end of Waikiki overlooking the Pacific Ocean. It was originally named Laeahi by the ancient Hawaiians. The name meant "brow of the tuna".The current name came was given to the crater by British sailors in the 1800's. who mistook calcite crystals embedded in the rock for diamonds.
